Sawantwadi Palace has tie ups with Ecommerce websites which allows people to buy the cards online. Apart from that the palace also has a gift shop for people who come and visit Sawantwadi just to see the making of the art. As far as aiding by the government is concerned, they promise funding to the palace to help the artisans and the craft but it gets lost on its way to them.
Ganjifa cards have been in shadows, most people do not know how to play them, what they are and their value.
